That the sole purpose of the American health care system is to provide clear and equal access to vital, comprehensive health care to everyone living in America in an affordable manner.

That the only way to accomplish this goal is the creation of sound, ongoing doctor patient relationships for every patient in America.

That firm control of the cost (price) of health care must occur if every patient is to participate in a sound, ongoing doctor patient relationship, and that the only way to achieve this is with a single payer/ administrator for the entire health care system.

That negotiated cost (price) control does not imply the loss of protected, reasonable profit margins for health care businesses or health care rationing by the single payer, but it does mean the removal of unbridled, egregious profits, also known as, greed.

That there is no such thing as free medical care. For a single payer system to work for everyone, then everyone must share the economic burden of paying for it; everyone must have a stake in it.
